Today we had a lazy morning and then rode to Beamish and back…
Whilst at the gates we saw some staff finishing staff training. They advised they are opening for business on Thursday next week (23rd July) via pre-bookable slots.
We had well deserved fish and chips for tea, and watched The Nut Job 2 for family film night.
Boy 1 has been in a good mood today. At lunch, he spotted I’d forgotten to make drinks (three squash and one milk) and offered to make them for us. He also made a card for Dad saying “Hi Dad, here’s a hedgehog for you because I know you like them”.
Boy 1 asked us a question about perfume. Hey Mam and Dad, I’ve got an idea. Why don’t we call girls perfume girlume, and boys perfume boyume? He recently asked us about deodorant and we’ve got him an unperfumed one to try. He’s feeling very grown up.
