Last Saturday the boys and I watched Dora and the Lost City of Gold at the cinema.

Always the explorer, Dora quickly finds herself leading Boots, Diego, a mysterious jungle inhabitant, and a ragtag group of teens on a live-action adventure to save her parents and solve the impossible mystery behind a lost Inca civilization.” IMDB
It was more of an Indiana Jones treasure hunt with crystal maze type challenges than the childish film I thought it would be, although it was clever how they’d integrated the cheesy cartoon features. The characters were fun, and the boys enjoyed the Poo song. They gave the film it 10/10. I gave it 7/10. I’m up for watching a sequel if there is one.
